The world of Fairy Tales are filled with enchantments, imagination and excitement. They continue to astound children all over the world because of the magic that it represents. To know a world where happy endings are ever-lasting and evil is defeated time and time again. We are in a generation lucky enough to watch them unfold on the big screen but long before the Disney adaptations came along, we had the originals. mostly written in completely different languages, in a time far far away. Charles Perrault and "Grimms Fairy Tales" told these tales in a more gruesome way. Although, the versions that we know and love are prevalent to our society, the originals are at times left unknown. This site is developed to give credit to original writers and allow people to delve into the uncharted original tales that tell a different story. Understanding these tales is paramount to understanding the history of children's literature.
